Keep Walking!

  ஆஸ்திரேலிய நகரங்களில் உள்ள  பெரும்பாலான வீடுகளில், சமைத்த/சாப்பிட்ட பாத்திரங்களை கழுவும் இயந்திரமான டிஷ்வாஷர்(Dishwasher) இருக்கும். ஆனா, நம்ம ஆளுங்க யாரும் அதை உபயோகப்படுத்த மாட்டாங்க. ‘என்ன ரெண்டு, மூணு பாத்திரம்தான, அப்பப்ப கழுவிக்குவேன்’ என்று சிலரும்,  ‘டிஷ்வாஷர் சரியா பாத்திரத்தை சுத்தம் செய்ய மாட்டேங்குது’ என்று இன்னும் சிலரும், ‘தோ இருக்காரு பாருங்க, இவர்தான் எங்க வீட்டு டிஷ்வாஷர்’ என்று பலரும் புருஷனை கைகாட்டுவார்கள். நாங்க வாடகைக்கு இருந்த வீட்டில் டிஷ்வாஷர் ஒரு தடவை யூஸ் பண்ண ஆரம்பிச்சு,  நேரத்தையும், தண்ணீரையும் மிச்சப் படுத்துவது பிடிச்சு போய், யூஸ் பண்ண ஆரம்பிச்சோம். அப்புறம், ‘டிஷ்வாஷர் இல்லா வீட்டில் குடியேற வேண்டாம்!’ என்றும் தீர்மானித்தோம்.  இரவு நேரத்தில் எல்லா பாத்திரங்களையும் அடுக்கி வைத்து,  டிஷ்வாஷிங் மாத்திரை (dishwashing tablet) ஒன்றை போட்டு, ஆன் செய்தால், ஒண்ணரை மணி நேரத்துல சுத்தம் பண்ணி, காலங்காத்தால நமக்கு எல்லா பாத்திரமும் பளிச்சென்று இருக்கும். நல்ல டிஷ்வாஷிங் மாத்திரை இருந்தால் (CostCo-வில் கிடைக்கும் Cascade Complete Dishw...
